Welcome to the Team: Emily Rader

We’re pleased to introduce Emily Rader, who joins our team as a Research Associate!

With over a decade of consulting and applied research experience, Emily brings deep expertise in behavioral health, public health, and criminal justice. A skilled mixed-methods researcher, she supports a wide range of projects through her strengths in developing data collection tools, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and translating findings into actionable reports.

  • If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
  • Emily: Rice bowls because there are many flavors of rice and the ingredients are versatile and fresh. Plenty of room to add a lot of veggies and mix and match!

  • What everyday activity would you win a gold medal in if it were suddenly an Olympic event and why?
  • Emily: Consecutive minutes listening to the same song on repeat, because I love patterns and you can never go wrong with patterns set to emotive catchy tunes.

  • What most excites you about joining EVC team and why?
  • Emily: I am most excited to join the EVC team because I am passionate about using data to drive meaningful improvements. I look forward to working closely with community-based organizations and agencies to help bridge the gap between research and practical work to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Joining EVC is an opportunity to help create positive changes through research and evaluation.

  • What skill are you most excited about sharing with our clients, team, and communities?
  • Emily: I am really excited to share my skills in mixed-methods research, analysis, and transforming data into impactful and meaningful reporting. I enjoy making data accessible to community partners and I am looking forward to working with clients and the team to deliver insights that can positively impact programs, individuals, and communities.

We’re excited to have Emily on board and have already seen the impact of her work across our projects and partnerships. Her passion for using data to drive real-world change, combined with her expertise in mixed-methods research, makes her a valuable addition to our team!
