Additional Project Work
EVALCORP has successfully carried out criminal justice projects (working with municipal police departments, probation agencies, gang violence prevention programs based in nonprofit and law enforcement partnership settings, jail-based program evaluations and survey initiatives, etc.). We are skilled at working effectively with justice-involved populations (both adult and juvenile) and recognize the importance of racial equity and cultural competency when designing and implementing research and evaluation studies and projects.
Mental Health and Behavioral Health
For over two decades, EVALCORP has worked closely with several behavioral health and substance use service providers on needs assessment and program evaluation projects, ranging in size from large urban counties to small rural counties with highly diverse communities and needs.
EVALCORP maintains expertise in early childhood topics including childhood health and development (e.g., social determinants of health, perinatal support, Adverse Childhood Experiences); safe and nurturing home environments (e.g., home visiting, parent engagement programs); and neighborhood and community supports (e.g., early care and education, place-based systems building). Our team also has extensive knowledge of First 5 priority areas and years of partnering with First 5 Commissions.
EVALCORP has partnered with a wide range of client organizations in the public health sector, including local and large government agencies, smaller nonprofits, and worldwide organizations. We have had the honor to work with organizations supporting diverse populations in need including informal caregivers, rural communities, and older adults.
