Last week, EVALCORP showed its team some love with a virtual Valentine’s party! Staff from coast to coast and beyond logged in for a special celebration highlighting one of our core values: Caring. The holiday offered the perfect opportunity to pause, show appreciation for one another, and strengthen the connections that make our team so special, all while enjoying food, games, and laughter.
Many staff members joined with festive Valentine’s-themed virtual backgrounds, sparking lively conversations about favorite sweet treats, beloved romantic movies, and nostalgic holiday memories. After enjoying lunch together, we kicked off the fun with Corporate Translation Hearts, a playful activity where teammates transformed familiar workplace phrases into classic heart-shaped candy messages. From “Let’s hop on a call” to “Following up on…,” the air filled with laughter as we recognized the phrases we use (and sometimes overuse!) every day.
Next, a Valentine’s-themed scavenger hunt invited participants to share fun and meaningful items from their space—like a favorite snack, a comfort object, something red, a perfect pairing, and a long-loved item—either on camera or in the chat. Adorable cats and dogs made special guest appearances, and teammates eagerly swapped recommendations for their favorite tasty treats. Each prompt encouraged creativity, storytelling, and a chance to learn something new about one another beyond our day-to-day roles.
