Criminal Justice

EVALCORP has successfully carried out criminal justice projects (working with municipal police departments, probation agencies, gang violence prevention programs based in nonprofit and law enforcement partnership settings, jail-based program evaluations and survey initiatives, etc.). We are skilled at working effectively with justice-involved populations (both adult and juvenile) and recognize the importance of racial equity and cultural competency when designing and implementing research and evaluation studies and projects.

For over two decades, EVALCORP has worked closely with several behavioral health and substance use service providers on needs assessment and program evaluation projects, ranging in size from large urban counties to small rural counties with highly diverse communities and needs.

Early Childhood

EVALCORP maintains expertise in early childhood topics including childhood health and development (e.g., social determinants of health, perinatal support, Adverse Childhood Experiences); safe and nurturing home environments (e.g., home visiting, parent engagement programs); and neighborhood and community supports (e.g., early care and education, place-based systems building). Our team also has extensive knowledge of First 5 priority areas and years of partnering with First 5 Commissions.
