Our team recently came together—both in person at our Laguna Woods office and virtually—to celebrate not one, but two new additions to the EVALCORP family. We hosted a sweet and joyful double baby shower in honor of Dr. Luis Vila-Henninger and his wife, who live in California, and Dr. Gabrielle Walker and her husband, who live in North Carolina. Gabby and Luis are both Research Associates on our team and soon-to-be parents.
The celebration was filled with excitement, laughter, and of course, donuts. As team members gathered around, there was an easy warmth in the room (and on screen) as we shared parenting tips, well-wishes, and stories from those among us who’ve already navigated the path of parenthood. Whether it was advice on sleep schedules or reflections on the early days with a newborn, the experience sparked meaningful conversation and connection across our team.
While the shower gave us the chance to celebrate these two incredible colleagues and their growing families, it also reminded us of the community we continue to build here—one that celebrates life milestones together, even across locations.
We’re so thrilled for Luis and Gabby as they begin this next chapter, and we’re grateful for the chance to share in the joy with them. Here’s to the newest members of our extended EVALCORP family!
