In celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we’d like to recognize EVALCORP’s Founder, President, and Principal Consultant, Kristen Donovan, PhD. A social psychologist with over 30 years of evaluation, measurement, and consulting experience, Kristen founded EVALCORP in 2002 to support safe, healthy, and strong communities throughout Orange County and the State of California.

Kristen maintains decades of subject matter expertise in the fields of mental health, criminal justice, public health, education, children’s services, and organizational development, and brings her pragmatic, utilization-focused and empowerment-centered approach to her love of evaluation, strategic planning, and needs assessment work.

Throughout the years, Kristen has had the opportunity to partner with multiple organizations to measure the impacts of programs and initiatives, and provide planning and development services for maximized effectiveness. Those organizations include:

Following a 13-year career as a Program Evaluator for Cook County Adult Probation and the State of Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA), Kristen holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Applied Social Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. in Psychology from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota.
