New & Noteworthy

We're excited to announce new team members! Sabrina Perlman and Shayla Wilson have joined us as Research Assistants.

Ms. Perlman is a cultural anthropologist with 6 years of experience. She brings content expertise in the areas of mental health, public health, domestic violence, developmental disabilities, racial literacy, second language acquisition, and the Deaf community.

Ms. Wilson is a sociologist with 4 years of experience specializing in policy and evaluation. She brings content expertise in the areas of criminal justice, victim services, reentry, mental health, and public health.

EVALCORP's research for Ventura County Behavioral Health Alcohol and Drug Programs was recognized for "exemplary efforts to advance community alcohol and drug prevention work through high-quality local research and dedication to the highest standards of research and evaluation services for the entire Division and for collaborative efforts with the Driving Under the Influence Program through survey research, data collection, and analysis."

EVALCORP was honored by Ventura County Behavioral Health with the Pillars of Prevention Award for outstanding research, program evaluation, and data related services in support of community-based prevention.
